I always know what’s going on in Frank’s world, but with my other brothers and sisters… not so much.
How can we convince you to write something once in a while (Katie’s back from school - still dating what’s his name, Nick and Kevin won their games, Yes - I’m still alive and working at Paris, Daniel has finally figured out what school he is going to — in a big surprise - it’s Liberty University, Bailey decided to do more than sniff or lick the other dog ash … you know, something like that.)
It’s that, or we might actually have to talk to one another once in a while, and we certainly don’t want that.
BTW - a guy at work was saying how great Picasso (http://picasa.google.com/) was for touching up and resizing pictures for the web. I haven’t tried it yet because I have Photoshop.
Not many people comment, either. But I guess we can’t expect the kind of comment traffic that sites like Rick’s page gets. That’s just phenominal.
Well we can’t ALL be A-list bloggers.
Okay, I updated my site but how do I do pictures?
Look at the instructions at the bottom of the page or click here. Remember to reduce the size of the pictures so you don’t take up so much disk space.
Okay I have one uploaded (I think) but how do I get it with post?
Click “write” to begin a new blog entry.
Give it a title.
Click in the blog body to position cursor. (I think this works for this version of Wordpress. Jim and I have a later version that’s a little easier to use.)
Click the “Browse All” tab.
Click the photo. If it says “Using Thumbnail” click on that to switch to “Using Original.”
Select “Send to Editor”
Then publish the post.
You need to take a look at the picture you uploaded. It’s way too big to fit on a web page without scrolling around to see it all. I suggest you resize a copy of it to maybe 6 inches across. Then upload it again using the same name.
